Antonio Figueroa
Antonio Figueroa Marín (* 1929 , † 2012 ), also known by the nickname El Burro (Eng. The donkey ), was a Mexican football player on the position of defender .
career
Figueroa began his career in 1947 with his hometown club Puebla FC , with whom he won the Mexican Cup competition in the 1952/53 season. In 1955 he switched to CD Irapuato , where he was under contract until 1964. In 1964 he returned to Puebla FC after they had returned to the then second-rate Segunda División after a financial break in the same year , and played for the Camoteros until 1967 .
In the 1976/77 season Figueroa was the head coach of Puebla FC, which is now back in the top division .
Figueroa died in 2012 at the age of 82.
