Pat Muchmore

Pat Muchmore (* 1976 in Ponca City / Oklahoma ) is an American composer and musician.

Muchmore began playing the piano at the age of eleven, with the cello, trombone and guitar added as other instruments. From 1996 to 2000 he studied composition at the University of Oklahoma with Carolyn Bremer . He completed his subsequent studies at the City University of New York with John Corigliano , David Del Tredici and David Olan in 2009 as a Ph.D. in composition (dissertation: "Humanity and Mechanicity in the music of Nine Inch Nails ").

He has performed with groups and musicians such as Forecast Music , Come Down , World / Inferno Friendship Society , the CUNY Graduate Center Contemporary Ensemble , Dälek , John Guilt , the Dan Neustadt Group , Andrew Spencer and The Dirty Sock Funtime Band and is a musician and composer founding member of the group Anti-Social Music , which u. a. released the album Fracture: The Music of Pat Muchmore .
