The Patinoire Polesud is a multi-purpose arena in Grenoble , France . The Brûleurs de loups de Grenoble from Ligue Magnus play their home games in the arena.
history
The arena opened in October 2001, replacing the Patinoire Clémenceau . In addition to the home games of the Brûleurs de loups de Grenoble from the Ligue Magnus , figure skating and short track competitions are held regularly in the ice stadium . In the 2009/10 season the final tournament for the IIHF Continental Cup took place in Polesud, with all three matches with the participation of the Brûleurs being sold out. There is also a smaller adjoining hall where the public can ice-skate. In addition to Polesud, there is the much larger Palais des Sports in the city, which hosted the 1968 Winter Olympics .
