Patrice Serres

Patrice Serres (born October 13, 1946 in Paris ) is a French comic artist .

Career

After initial work, Patrice Serres went to America , where he assisted Frank Robbins in Johnny Hazard . After his return he worked for Pilote , published his own aviator comics and became deputy editor-in-chief of Tintin . For Jijé he was able to do the ink drawings for a story by Tanguy and Laverdure and, after his death, Jean-Michel Charlier gave him the opportunity to finish an album that was not yet finished and to continue with the series. Initially, he took over the representation of Jijé and switched to his own style in his last episode. In addition to his work as a comic artist, he also worked as a producer for radio and television.
