Patricia Pisani (* 1958 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine visual artist.

Life

Patricia Pisani studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires from 1978 and was awarded the Young Artists '88 Prize in 1988, which is awarded annually in Buenos Aires. Patricia Pisani has lived in Germany since 1990, where she completed a postgraduate course at the Stuttgart Art Academy . Since then she has received a number of teaching positions for art and new media at both the University of the Arts , Berlin and the Berlin-Weißensee School of Art .

In 2001 she was awarded first prize in the Memorial Signs competition in memory of those murdered by the Nazi military justice on Murellenberg . The artist's installation of 104 traffic mirrors on Berlin's Murellenberg was opened on May 8, 2002.

She has taken part in a number of exhibitions, including the Argentinian in Spiegel exhibition in 2001, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Argentina and the Goethe Institute. She exhibited her work there together with Argentine artists such as Celia Caturelli , Miguel Rothschild , Viviana Martínez-Tosar , Martín Mele , Alejandro Dhers , Pablo Castagnola and Pat Binder . In 2003 she received the Georg Kolbe Prize .
