Patricia Volkow
Patricia Amalia Volkow-Fernández (born November 16, 1957 in Mexico City ) is a Mexican doctor and AIDS expert. She is head of the Infectious Diseases Department of the Instituto Nacional de Cancerologia and a member of the Sistema Nacional de Investigadores of Mexico.
Volkow-Fernández is a daughter of the chemist Esteban Volkov and the fashion designer Palmira Fernández. She has a twin sister named Natalia and the older sisters Verónica and Nora . Her paternal great-grandfather is Leon Trotsky . She has two sons (* 1985 and 1997) and a daughter (* 1993).
