Patricio Sturlese

Patricio Sturlese (born October 23, 1973 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine writer of Italian origin.

Sturlese comes from an Italian immigrant family; his parents are both from Genoa ; the classical philologist Loris Sturlese is a distant relative.

Sturlese studied a. a. Church history at the Colegio Máximo of the Jesuits in San Miguel ( Gran Buenos Aires ) and was able to successfully complete this course. Already during his studies he became aware of the Sociedad Italiana and supported by the Italian consul of San Miguel, Sturlese was entrusted with its management in 2005.

From 2004 on, Sturlese undertook several excursions to Europe to study medieval castles in France, Germany, Italy and the Czech Republic. Impressions and insights from this trip then flowed into his first novel "The Devil's Gospel" with which he made his very successful debut in 2007. In this work, Sturlese addresses the mysterious Necronomicon .

Sturleses currently lives as a freelance writer in Bella Vista ( Gran Buenos Aires ).
