Patrick Börder

Patrick Börder (born March 13, 1965 in Trier ) is a former German basketball player and official.

Life

Börder grew up in Trier-Süd . He played from the mid-1980s to 1996 in the development position for TV Germania (TVG) Trier , from 1990 in the basketball league . During his basketball career, he obtained his Abitur at Friedrich-Spee-Gymnasium, he then began studying business administration, then switched to law , which he broke off before enrolling at the administrative college in Mayen , but did not finish this training , but resumed the business administration course and completed it. After graduating, Börder worked for advertising agencies.

In July 2002 he then took over the office of managing director of Trier Basketball GmbH, the operator of the then Trier Bundesliga team TVG. He held this position until the end of August 2005 and then took up a management position in the marketing department of a roof manufacturer.
