Patrick Ilboudo

Patrick Gomdaogo Ilboudo (born February 18, 1951 in Bilbalgo , Ouagadougou , † February 28, 1994 ) was a Burkinabe writer .

Life

He attended the school in Baoghin and the Lycée Laurent Gilhat. After his BEPC ( Diplôme national du brevet ) he studied Modern Literature at the University of Ouagadougou . After completing a master's degree at the IFP ( Institut français de presse ) , he completed his doctorate in 1983 at the University of Panthéon-Assas with La politique française vue par les journaux africains .

In 1980 he founded the mutual insurance company for the Union and Solidarity of Writers (MUSE) with authors such as Norbert Zongo . He was an assistant at the Institut africain d'études cinématographiques (INAFEC) at the University of Ouagadougou. In 1983 he founded the associative anti-racist humanitarian movement MOVRAP.
