Patrick McGinley (* 1937 in Glencolumbkille ) is an Irish writer . McGinley settled in the UK in the 1960s and now resides in Kent .

The novel Goosefoot was filmed in 1987 under the title The Fantasist . A New Dubliner (played by Moira Sinise ) receives phone calls from a stranger and runs the risk of falling victim to a serial killer.
