Patricia "Patti" Russo (born May 20, 1964 in New Jersey ) is an American singer.

Life

Russo was born in New Jersey and grew up in northern New York with her older sister Madeline . She started singing at an early age and was a member of the school choir.

She sang in several pieces by rock singer Meat Loaf (1995 I'd lie for you and If this is the last kiss for the album Welcome to the Neighborhood , 1999 Is nothing sacred as a new duet recording of the solo piece on the best-of CD, 2003 Couldn't have said it better as the title track of the album of the same name , 2006 What About Love for the album Bat Out of Hell III ) and was on tour as lead singer in Meat Loaf's live band, the Neverland Express , from 1993 to 2006 . Since summer 2008 she has been a member of the band again. Patti Russo and Meat Loaf sing the duet Let's be in love on the album Hang Cool Teddy Bear , released on April 23, 2010 .

Patti Russo sang the role of Theresa, Beethoven's secret love on the album Beethoven's Last Night ( Within the dreams of candlelight , I'll keep you secret and After the Fall ) of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO), and in 2001 she borrowed the TSO again her vote for the Whoville Medley: Perfect Christmas Night . From August 2000 to February 2001 she played the role of Esmeralda in the London musical Notre Dame de Paris .

In 2017 she toured Spain with the production Symphonic Rhapsody of Queen .
