Pau (also: Bau ) is a tiny, uninhabited island in the Tongan archipelago of Vavaʻu .

geography

Pau is a small motu off the west coast of Taunga . It belongs to the reef southeast of the center of Vavaʻu.

climate

The climate is tropical hot, but is tempered by constantly blowing winds. Like the other islands of the Vava'u group, Pau is occasionally hit by cyclones .
