Paul-Emile Saadé

Paul-Emile Saadé (born July 9, 1933 in Ehden , North Lebanon ) is Maronite Bishop emeritus of Batrun .

Life

Paul-Emile Saadé was ordained a priest on April 12, 1958 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him on May 2, 1986 titular bishop of Apamea in Syria dei Maroniti and auxiliary bishop in Antioch.

The Maronite Patriarch of Antioch and the whole Orient , Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir , donated him the episcopal ordination on July 12th of the same year.

On June 5, 1999, he was appointed Bishop of Batrun . In 2012, his resignation, submitted for reasons of age, was accepted.
