Elmelunde Sogn (formerly also called Hjertebjerg Sogn ) is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Møn in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Mønbo Herred in what was then Præstø Amt , then to Møn Kommune in Storstrøms Amt , which became part of Vordingborg Municipality in the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .
The parish has 441 residents (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Elmelunde Kirke" with the large burial mound in the cemetery.
Neighboring communities are Keldby Sogn in the west and Borre Sogn in the east .
