Møn Kommune was a Danish municipality in what was then Storstrøms Office until December 2006 . Since January 2007 it has been part of the new Vordingborg Municipality together with the “old” Vordingborg Municipality , Langebæk Municipality and Præstø Municipality . Møn Kommune essentially consisted of the island of Møn .
