Nykøbing Falster Kommune was a Danish municipality in what was then Storstrøms Amt until December 2006 . In January 2007 it merged with the municipalities of Sydfalster , Nysted , Nørre Alslev , Sakskøbing and Stubbekøbing to form the municipality of Guldborgsund .
