Kastrup Kirke

Kastrup Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in the south of the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Hammer Herred in what was then Præstø Amt , then to Vordingborg Kommune in Storstrøms Amt , which was merged into the “new” Vordingborg Municipality in the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of the local government reform .

Of the 12,032 inhabitants of Vordingborg, 2,857 live in the parish of Kastrup (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Kastrup Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring municipalities are Sværdborg Sogn in the north, Ørslev Sogn in the east and Vordingborg Sogn in the south . The peninsula Knudshoved Odde to the west also belongs to Vordingborg Sogn.
