Skibinge Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in the south of the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Bårse Herred in what was then Præstø Amt , then to Præstø Kommune in Storstrøms Amt , which was incorporated into Vordingborg Municipality in the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of the local government reform .

2903 inhabitants live in the parish, 366 of them in the parish. Most of the others are among the 3814 inhabitants of Præstø (as of January 1, 2020). The church “Skibinge Kirke” is located in the parish.

Neighboring municipalities are in the north Præstø Sogn , in the east Jungshoved Sogn , in the south Allerslev Sogn and in the west Beldringe Sogn .
