Øster Egesborg Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in the south of the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Bårse Herred in what was then Præstø Amt , then to Langebæk Municipality in Storstrøms Amt , which was merged into Vordingborg Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

629 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Øster Egesborg Kirke".
