Jungshoved Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in the south of the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Bårse Herred in what was then Præstø Amt , then to Præstø Kommune in Storstrøms Amt , which was incorporated into Vordingborg Municipality in the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of the local government reform .

806 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Jungshoved Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring communities are Allerslev Sogn in the southwest and Skibinge Sogn in the west .
