Ørslev Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in the south of the island of Sjælland in the south of Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Bårse Herred in what was then Præstø Amt , then to Vordingborg Kommune in Storstrøms Amt , which was merged into the "new" Vordingborg Municipality in the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of the local government reform .

2110 inhabitants live in the parish, 1871 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Ørslev Kirke".

Neighboring municipalities are Udby Sogn in the north, Øster Egesborg Sogn in the east, Vordingborg Sogn in the south, Kastrup Sogn in the west and Sværdborg Sogn in the north-west .
