Paul Deppisch

Paul David Deppisch (born November 6,  1970 in Attleboro ( Massachusetts )) is a former American / German basketball player . The two-meter-long winger was  on the field for Braunschweig, Herten and Leverkusen in the basketball league .

career

Deppisch grew up as the son of a German father in the US state of Massachusetts . He played at North Attleborough High School, followed by stays at Massasoit Community College (where he was at the top of the college's all-time best with 1074 points) and at Stonehill College.

In 1993 he moved to SG Braunschweig  in the basketball league . After a year in Lower Saxony he went to the second division TuS Herten, with whom he played in the Bundesliga in the 1995/96 season.

From 1996 to 1998 Deppisch, who excelled as a strong distance thrower, was under contract with the English club London Towers. At the end of his career as a professional basketball player, he played for Bayer Leverkusen  in the Bundesliga during the 1998/99 season .

His twin brother Peter Deppisch  was also a professional basketball player and played together with Paul in Herten in 1994/95.
