Paul Faure (politician)
Paul Faure (born February 3, 1878 in Périgueux , Dordogne department , † November 16, 1960 in Paris ) was a French socialist politician and, before the Second World War, leader of the pacifist faction of the French socialist party Section française de l'Internationale ouvrière (SFIO) . He represented the left, pacifist wing of his party and, in contrast to Léon Blum, supported the Munich Agreement , but in 1938 he was a member of its cabinet as Minister of State.
