Paul Gedler

Paul Gedler (born January 25, 1715 in Amberg near Türkheim; † June 23, 1790 there ) was a German altar maker .

He was the son of a mercenary and learned to be a carpenter in the neighboring Türkheim . There he married in 1738. Gedler began his independent activity around 1750. Many of his altars were destroyed during the purges of the 19th century.
