history

The parish church of St. Silvester is a late Gothic building from the second half of the 15th century. In 1471, Eglof von Riedheim acquired the village of Zaisertshofen in addition to the Angelberg estate. In the course of the administrative reforms in the Kingdom of Bavaria , the community of that time was established with the community edict of 1818 . When Zaisertshofen was incorporated into Tussenhausen on May 1, 1978, the community lost its political independence.
