Paul Griffin (cyclist)

Paul Griffin (born February 12, 1973 in Tralee ) is a retired Irish cyclist .

Paul Griffin won a stage in the Tour de Hokkaidō in 2001 and was third overall. In 2003 he was first in the overall ranking at the Ras Connachta. In the 2004 season he won the Lacey Cup and a stage in the Surrey League 5 Day and moved to the Giant Asia Racing Team in June . In 2005 he was on the Azerbaïjan Tour , the Tour of East Java and the Tour d'Indonesiaeach successful on one section. The following year Griffin was successful in a few races. He won the one-day races Lacey Cup, Des Hanlon Memorial and the Gene Moriarty Cup. He was also successful on two parts of the Surrey League 5 Day. In the 2007 season he won a stage at Ras Mumhan. In 2008 he won a stage of the Tour of Ulster and in 2011 he won a section of Ras Mumhan and the Killorglin Credit Union Christmas Hamper.
