Paul Meffert

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Paul Heinrich Meffert (born August 13, 1880 Grevenberg ; † in the 20th century ) was a German actor and theater director .

Live and act

Meffert had started acting shortly after the turn of the century. He played both in the provinces (for example in Sigmaringen ) and in Berlin , where he first came in 1905. In the capital of the Reich, Meffert worked as both an actor and a director.

In 1912 the film approached him. Before the First World War he was Asta Nielsen's partner in several productions of Urban Gad ( The Girl Without a Fatherland , The Death in Seville , S 1 ). After the interruption caused by the war, Meffert resumed film work in 1918. After participating in two sensational films by Harry Piels , Meffert disappeared from the public eye in the mid-1920s. Even as a theater producer, he can no longer be proven.
