Paul Rasche

Paul Rasche (born July 11, 1924 in Hagen ; † February 19, 2003 ibid) was a German sports official in several associations.

Life

Between 1934 and 1952 he was an active player, since 1946 also managing director and soccer lobbyist of the Sportgemeinschaft Boelerheide von 1898 eV . In 1974 the trained industrial clerk became chairman of the Football and Athletics Association of Westphalia (FLVW). He held this office until 2001, when he was named "Honorary President". At the association day of the West German Football Association (today WFLV) on July 18, 1981, he was also elected chairman of this association.

In addition, Paul Rasche was a member of the board of the German Football Association (DFB) for twenty years from 1981 to 2001 . He was a member of the DFB Advisory Board from 1967 to 2001 and between 1968 and 1974 acted as DFB representative for popular sports.
