Paul Scholz (theologian)
Paul Scholz (born June 29, 1828 in Żagań ; † August 27, 1900 in Breslau ) was a German Catholic theologian .
Life
He studied in Breslau from 1848. After his ordination in 1852, he was a chaplain in Guhrau and a repetent in Breslau. In 1853 he became lic. theol. From 1853 to 1864 he was a religion teacher at the Matthias Gymnasium. In 1857 he qualified as a professor for Old Testament exegesis in Breslau. From 1868 he was a full professor.
