Paul Taylor (art historian)

Paul Nicholas Taylor (* 1963 ) is a British art historian .

life and work

Taylor graduated from the University of Cambridge . Specialist in the iconography of the Renaissance and Dutch art directs the photo collection of the 1991 Warburg Institute . Taylor was the first to examine the important concept of "houding" in Dutch art. Paul Taylor is also active as a literary critic. In this capacity he dealt with the poet Friederike Migneco , who wrote under the pseudonym Cayetana Caruso .
