Paul Vollenweider

Paul Vollenweider (born April 4, 1888 in Toos ; † April 24, 1962 ) was a Swiss military doctor, most recently in the rank of Oberstbrigadier in the position of senior field doctor in the army from 1936 to 1945.

In the post-war years he was director of the Federal Health Office. During his tenure as director of the health department, he let his experience flow into the draft of a law supplement to the federal law to combat tuberculosis , which, however, was rejected for political reasons in 1949.
