Paul Wamers

Paul Wamers (* 1948 ) was President of the Customs Criminal Police Office from October 1, 2010 to December 31, 2011 .

Life

After joining customs, Paul Wamers was employed in a regional tax office before becoming head of the main customs office in Kleve . After having been entrusted with several management functions in the meantime, he took over the position of Vice President of the Customs Criminal Police Office in Cologne in 1992 . From December 2008 Wamers was President of the Federal Finance Directorate Southwest, before returning as President of the ZKA from October 1, 2010 to December 31, 2011. He succeeded Karl-Heinz Matthias .

Wamers is married and has three grown daughters.
