Paul Witten

Paul Witten (* 1887 ; † 1954 ) was a German economist.

Career

Witten received his doctorate in 1918 from the University of Bonn . From 1930 he was city treasurer in Krefeld under Lord Mayor Heinrich Hüpper . Like Hüpper, he was politically close to the center .

After the Second World War, he was Chief Financial Officer of the North Rhine Province until 1952 . In addition, he was a member of the board of trustees for the Rheinhausen Holding until 1954 .
