Pauline Thys-Sébault

Pauline Thys-Sébault (* 1837 ; † 1892 ) was a French composer.

The daughter of the composer Alphonse Thys became known for romantic chansons and songs in the tradition of Loïsa Puget . She also composed several comic operas and operettas, mainly based on her own libretti, which were successfully performed in Paris at the Opéra-Comique and the Théâtre des Bouffes-Parisiens, among others .
