Paullina Simons

Paullina Simons (* 1963 in Leningrad ) is an American (Russian) writer. With her novels The Lovers of Leningrad , Tatiana and Alexander and Land of Lupins , she achieved bestseller status worldwide.

biography

Paullina Simons was born as Paullina Handler in Saint Petersburg in 1963 and grew up there. Her father, Yuri Handler, was a lawyer and her mother was an engineer. In 1968, Yuri Handler was arrested for anti-communist propaganda. When she was seven, she and her family immigrated to the United States .

She worked in Rome and Dallas and lived in London for 4 years , where she worked as a business journalist. Then she settled as a television producer in New York City .

Paullina Simons is married for the second time and has 3 children.
