The building

The house at Paulstrasse 71 is in the Düren district of Merken , North Rhine-Westphalia .

The house is the former Villa Emmel, now Elisabeth-Heim. It was built in the second half of the 19th century. The outbuildings date from 1836.

The two-storey plastered villa is made of brick masonry. She is flat. The facade is designed in seven axes with three central axes that are positioned in front of it like a risalit . A large park with a pond and Lourdes grotto belongs to the listed area .

The building is registered under No. 11/005 in the list of monuments of the city of Düren.
