Pavlína Jíšová
Pavlína Jíšová (* 21st September 1962 , in České Budějovice ) is a Czech folk - and Country - singer .
Life
Pavlína Jíšová graduated from the Pedagogical Faculty in České Budějovice with a degree in the Czech language and music. She won the Porta in Pilsen twice with the SEM TAM group . Later she sang in the folk group Žalman a spol. , with which she recorded two albums, she also sang with Minnesengři . In the Žalman a spol. She sang until her daughter was born in 1990.
Between 1991 and 2002 Jíšová was the singer of the group Nezmaři. Six times it was by the magazine Folk & Country for Singer of the Year chosen. In 2002 she founded her own group CS Band, since 2007 Pavlína Jíšová a přátelé . In Czech media she is often referred to as the First Lady of Czech Folk .
