Pecunia - Das ErbinnenNetzwerk e. V. is a registered association with network character with its headquarters in Wiesbaden . It supports women who have inherited in finding the best way to manage their wealth .

history

From 1997 to 1999, fundraising advisor Marita Haibach and three other financial advisors organized heiress conferences in Cologne , at which heiresses were able to exchange ideas for the first time. This resulted in a group that met regularly at annual conferences and at regional level in the years that followed. From 2000, this network was called Pecunia (Latin: money, fortune). On September 29, 2003, the association Pecunia - Das ErbinnenNetzwerk e. V. founded.

The association has over 100 members. Its organs are the general assembly, the board of directors and the so-called network workshop, which meets twice a year and can form various working and regional groups.

Goals and Activities

The association's work is based on the experience that women inherit differently than men and benefit in a special way from the exchange of experiences among like-minded people. In addition to regular network meetings, the association offers its members seminars and workshops and provides information on dealing with advisors in the financial sector and responsible investments. The social responsibility of the heiresses and the effects of the inheritance on their own descendants and the environment are also discussed. Many association members get involved with their assets in socially active foundations.

The association is also dedicated to public relations with the aim of developing a new and future-oriented image of wealthy women and promoting it to the outside world. In the media, Pecunia is mainly represented by prominent members such as the heiress and donation activist Ise Bosch , who works to ensure that even the wealthy talk openly about money and take social responsibility.

Members

The association is open to women who can prove an inheritance of at least 500,000 euros. The available assets of the members of the association add up to over half a billion euros. This includes money, company shares, real estate or other assets. The names of the members are not made available to the public.
