Pedro Cardoso (cyclist)
Pedro Cardoso (born April 12, 1974 in Barcelos ) is a former Portuguese cyclist .
Pedro Cardoso celebrated his first stage win in 2002 at the GP do Minho . A year later he won a part of the Algarve Tour and another year later he won two stages at the GP Internacional Mitsubishi . In the following years he made it into the top ten in the overall ranking at the Volta ao Alentejo and the Troféu Joaquim Agostinho . In 2007 he won the overall ranking of the Grand Prix CTT Correios de Portugal and in 2008 the Grand Prix Paredes Rota dos Móveis .
In May 2008 Cardoso was banned for one year for doping , later the ban was reduced to six months. He then ended his cycling career.
