Pedro Olea
Pedro María Olea Retolaza (born June 30, 1938 in Bilbao ) is a Spanish director .
Life
Olea was a student at the official Spanish Escuela de Cinematografía de Madrid . At the beginning of his career he made documentaries ; his first feature films were comedies. In several of his meanwhile around 25 films, shady or characters with double lives are at the center.
For El maestro de esgrima he received the Goya Award in 1993 .
