Peggy McLean
Peggy McLean (* around 1926; † 2013 ) was an American table tennis player . At the 1949 World Cup she won gold with the American team.
Career
Peggy McLean was promoted and trained by the four-time American champion Louis Pagliaro . In 1948 she won the American Open Championship and the Canadian Open Championship in singles. In 1949 and 1951 she was nominated for participation in the world championships . The 1949 World Cup was a success . Here she won bronze in mixed with Martin Reisman , and with the American women's team she even became world champion by defeating the Hungarian team 3-1 in the final.
In July 1949, she was ranked second in the ITTF world rankings .

In 1949 Peggy McLean married the Swede Elis Folke.
