The Pelican Point is a headland on the north coast of South Georgia . It is on the north side of the entrance to Ocean Harbor . In front of it is the Cabrial Rock .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2009 after the whaling ship Pelican owned by the Norwegian A / S Ocean Whaling Company, which was one of the first ships to call at the whaling station in Ocean Harbor.
