Wilhelm Gustav Loew

Wilhelm Gustav Loew (born July 20, 1887 in Camberg , † December 18, 1977 in Saarbrücken ) was a German theologian and doctor.

Life

From 1906 to 1909 he studied theology at the University of Freiburg im Breisgau , at the University of Halle-Wittenberg and at the University of Marburg . After his first theological exam in 1909 and licentiate in 1914 (church) in Marburg , he was pastor in Traben-Trarbach from 1927 to 1937 . After compulsory retirement in 1939, he studied medicine at the University of Graz from 1940 to 1945 . After receiving his doctorate in Graz in 1945 as Dr. med. he was a doctor in a deaconess hospital from 1945 to 1950. From 1952 to 1963 he taught as an honorary professor for practical theology in Mainz .
