Catlin Arctic Survey

In cooperation with the University of Cambridge, Hadow and his expedition companions Ann Daniels and Martin Hartley collected data on the rapid melting of the North Pole in 2009 . To do this, they measured the thickness of the ice sheet and the layer of snow. Based on this research data, Prof. Peter Wadhams concluded that the North Pole could be ice-free by 2029.
