Penguin Ridge ( Polish Grań Pingwinisko , Pinguingrat ' ) is a mountain ridge on King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It rises south of the Arctowski station in a southwest-northeast orientation between Halfmoon Cove and Suszczewski Cove . The Rakusa Point is its seaward extension. The lower section of Ornithologists Creek flows on its southern flank.
Polish scientists named it in 1980 after the penguin colony that is located there.
