The Ornithologists Creek ( English ; Polish Potok Ornitologów , Ornitologenbach ' ) is a creek on King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It lies between Ecology Glacier and Penguin Ridge south of the Arctowski station . The stream has now split into two branches, the Czech Creek and the Vanishing Creek .

Polish scientists named it in 1980 after the American ornithologists Wayne Z. Trivelpiece and Nicholas J. Volkman, who worked as exchange scientists during the Polish Antarctic expedition carried out from 1977 to 1978 at the Arctowski station.
