People's Television

People's Television or PTV for short is a Thai television station.

It was founded by members of the Thai Rak Thai party after the military coup in 2006 .

history

On April 9, 2010, supporters of the National United Front of Democracy Against Dictatorship ( UDD for short , German for example: United National Front for Democracy Against Dictatorship ) stormed the country's most important satellite station in the wake of the unrest in Bangkok in 2010 in order to restart PTV operations enable. The government had previously interrupted broadcasting on the grounds that PTV had " spread lies and thus stirred up hatred ".
