People are funny

People are Funny was a longtime American game show developed by John Guedel (1913-2001).

On April 10, 1942, NBC first broadcast People Are Funny on its radio program. Art Baker hosted the show . On October 1, 1943, Art Linkletter took over the show. The radio show was so successful that a musical with the same title was released in 1946. With Linkletter as moderator, the game show was taken over by television in 1954, where it ran until April 1, 1960.
