The Peoples Football Stadium is a stadium in Port Grand , Karachi , Sindh , Pakistan . It has a capacity of 40,000 seats. In 2016, Pakistan Army FC defeated PIA FC in the national soccer championship in the stadium. It is the home stadium of HBL FC and the Pakistani national soccer team . Some Karachi Football League matches are played in the stadium. In addition, the 2005 South Asian Cup took place here.
