Pepi Sonuga
Pepi Sonuga (born September 8, 1993 in Lagos , Nigeria ) is a Nigerian - American actress . She gained fame through her roles as Taylor DuBois in General Hospital and as Sally Benton in The Fosters .
Life
Sonuga grew up in Lagos . At the age of 10, she moved to Los Angeles to work in the entertainment industry. At the age of 15 she won the title of Miss Teen Los Angeles , which helped her to get her first jobs as a model . In 2016 she played the role of Sally Benton in the series The Fosters , which made her famous.
Sonuga currently plays the role of Tangey Turner in the series Famous In Love , which will be broadcast on Freeform from 2017 .
Sonuga has African and Irish roots .
